Selena Gomez was born on July 22, 1992 and was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her birth mother Amanda Cornett & birth father Ricardo Gomez are separated. Amanda gave birth to Selena at age 16. Nearly 10 years later Amanda remarried to Brian Teefy. Selena is best known for her role as Alex Russo in the show 'Wizards Of Waverly Place' and as Mary in 'Another Cinderella Story'. Selena had her hit album "Kiss And Tell" which went platinum. You may have heard of one of her most popular songs "Naturally" and "Falling Down".
